Marco Moreira is an accountant by trade, though he’ll be the first to say, “forgive me…”. His journey into ERP began in 1991, when he implemented his very first system: Pastel Partner v2 for DOS. Since then, Marco has been firmly rooted in the Pastel, Softline, and Sage ecosystem, building three decades of hands-on experience in financial systems and business transformation.

Today, Marco’s focus is on Sage Intacct, which he aptly calls “Finance in the Cloud.” With deep expertise spanning Sage Pastel, Evolution, Business Cloud, Financials, Intacct, and ERP X3, he combines technical mastery with practical accounting insight to help clients streamline processes and unlock real business value.

Alongside his technical background, Marco has also demonstrated strong entrepreneurial leadership as the owner and director of Equator Technologies for over 25 years. He is a member of both SAIPA and SAIT, underscoring his professional standing in the accounting and finance community.
