Gerhard Myburgh

Gerhard is a Chartered Accountant and the Chief Financial Officer of CoreSync. He’s responsible for the company’s financial strategy, governance and commercial performance. That covers revenue and billing, client contracts and renewals, and the financial health of the business as it grows across South Africa, the rest of Africa and the Middle East.

With eight years of experience in finance, Gerhard brings a CFO’s view to every client conversation. He uses Sage Intacct to run CoreSync’s own finance function, so he knows what finance teams need from their systems because he depends on the same tools. That first-hand experience shapes how CoreSync designs, implements and supports Sage Intacct for its clients.

Gerhard is especially interested in where finance meets technology, and he’s driving the use of AI with Sage Intacct data so finance teams get insights faster and spend less time on manual work. He sees every client relationship as a long-term partnership, built on trust, transparency and a shared commitment to the client’s success.
