Carl Harris is the driving force behind Signature Business Solutions, of which CoreSync is a division, a company he built from the ground up into one of South Africa’s leading technology and financial services partners. With more than 18 years at the helm of Signature, Carl has shaped the business into a trusted leader in financial automation, reconciliation, and enterprise technology.

Carl’s career began at PwC, where he completed his articles in the Banking Division, before taking on senior finance roles at Resilient Properties, STANLIB, and Liberty Life. These experiences gave him first-hand insight into the challenges faced by financial services organisations—insights that became the foundation for his entrepreneurial journey.

In 2006, he launched Signature Business Solutions with a bold vision: to bridge the gap between IT and Finance. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a multi-national group with offices in South Africa and the UK, employing a diverse team of finance and IT specialists who help leading organisations streamline operations, improve compliance, and unlock efficiency through automation.

Carl specialises in the automation of financial controls and data management, with expertise spanning reconciliations, reporting, accounting, allocations, and broader financial process transformation.
